Single-layer thin cardstock player sheets are the primary failure point in modern tabletop resource management. Reconstructing the gamestate takes ten minutes or ends the session entirely.

Our workshop fabricates precision dual-layer replacement boards. The bottom tier is a rigid 1.5mm high-density fiberboard or matte acrylic base. The top layer is a 2.0mm cast acrylic sheet laser-cut with routed tracks and pockets sized exactly to standard 8mm and 10mm resource cubes. Once seated in a pocket, a cube cannot slide horizontally without being lifted intentionally.

We also manufacture replacement dial sets for health, sanity, and victory points. Instead of flimsy plastic push-pegs that loosen over six months, our rotary counters feature turned brass tubular eyelets with calibrated tension washers that retain satisfying rotation clicks without coming undone.

The Five-Step Counter & Supply Process

Every upgrade pack ordered through our Portland desk is measured against real box tolerances:

1. Game Verification: You specify the target game title and edition so our workshop cross-references dimension footprints and cube sizes from our archive.
2. Laser Cutting & Deburring: Acrylic sheets are laser-cut with calibrated air assist to eliminate heat warping, followed by manual edge deburring.
3. Hardware Assembly & Tensioning: Center brass eyelets are pressed using an arbor press to achieve exactly 0.4 Nm rotational friction.
4. Fit Testing with Actual Cubes: Our counter team places standard 8mm and 10mm test cubes into tracks, verifying zero binding or sloppy movement.
5. Dispatch from SW 1st Ave: Orders are packed in unbleached protective cartons and dispatched daily between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM PST.
