Multi-expansion crate consolidates campaign game boxes into one solid archive.

This high-capacity wooden storage system consolidates sprawling campaign titles where multiple expansion boxes clutter your table and spill cardboard chits during shelf transit.

How We Build and Verify Each Storage Crate

From Caliper Measurement to Friction-Fit Assembly

Cardboard box dimensions can vary significantly from web listings. Publishers frequently change box depths between print runs by 3 mm to 6 mm without updating rulebooks. We measure actual production copies using steel vernier calipers at our Portland workshop.

Our lasers cut 3 mm Baltic birch with 0.08 mm focal lenses to minimise edge scorch. Components are dry-assembled, checked for square with precision machinists squares, and inspected for splinter-free card well edges.

Step 1: Dimensional Audit Interior box cavity measured ±0.1 mm
Step 2: Laser Calibration Kerf compensation adjusted per sheet
Step 3: Tray Keying Friction-fit joint test assembly
Step 4: Sleeved Card Test Verified with 100-micron matte protectors

Honest Limitations

This storage crate is heavy. A fully loaded birch crate carrying 1,800 sleeved cards and cast metal tokens weighs roughly 8 kilograms. It is engineered for dedicated campaign tables, not light backpacks.

If you use 60-micron penny sleeves, card stacks may have 1.5 mm lateral play per channel. We deliberately dimension our wells for standard 100-micron archival polypropylene protectors.

Not recommended for thin decorative tuck boxes or unboxed card games.
